I didn’t plan for this newsletter to fall on Valentine’s Day, but it’s Tuesday, so here we are. I’ll share a bit about love… which is that I love love. I love expressing love. I love feeling loved. And I believe in love.
While I could write at much more length about love, the purpose of today’s post is to share a practice that can support you any day of the year, especially for when you feel overwhelmed. Even if you only have one minute today, I invite you to listen for a little bit:
For about ten years, I have held onto a keychain, that now stays tucked inside the not-so-accessible part of my wallet. It says, “What would LOVE do?” The “love keychain” used to dangle next to charms, my library card & keys. Now that it is more hidden, when I do look at it, I pause. How often do we respond (to strangers but especially to dear ones) from a place of frustration, distress, fear or disappointment? I wonder in each of those moments, what would Love do?
xoxo,
Amanda
PS
In case no one told you today, I love you.
Love what you are doing!!!! Thank you
