In the spirit of staying consistent, and not letting this week slide by without pressing send, today I am sharing a quote that I believe is both beautiful and impactful.
I have a “Quotes” page in my Notes app where I’ve been compiling words that move me, for many years. Some are tied to specific places I have visited, and others I heard along the way and did not want to forget.
This one is attributed to Swami Brahmananda Saraswati. I am not sure exactly when I heard it first, but it seems to resonate no matter what phase of life I’m in. And I imagine, wherever you are in your life today, it might speak to you, too.
You deserve the best.
Never feel unworthy or
not justified in having the best.
I tell you, this is your heritage;
but, you have to accept it.
You have to expect it;
you have to claim it.
To do so is not demanding too much.
What would it be like to not only read these words aloud to yourself or your loved ones each day, but to also viscerally feel them in your body and know that they are true?
